The start of the spike was in the first frame before it hit the pad. I think he hit it before pad.

But again it's not 100% clear to overturn for me. Similar to Roots.

I'm not denying that. India also played poorly, but you have to try something different. It might rag and you get stumped, so be it.

pitch is a disgrace. Surely the pitch should deteriorate over a few days. Spinners should have some talent in the early days to control when there isn’t as much there from them.
