3rd Test India v England

Without doubt India are a better side than England. A quick glance at the averages tells you that.
But this pitch is a complete mockery. It reduces the beautiful game that is test cricket to a farce and a game more reliant on pure luck than skill and nerve.

BTW Bairstow was picked because he plays spin well. FFS. Regardless of how he does in the next Test he should never pull an England Test shirt on ever again.

Well that was ridiculous and a bit pointless really. But if winning means that much to the Indians let them crack on. All a bit shameless to me though.

Cost themselves three days of crowd money which might not matter so much this year - and maybe tv money. So not really sustainable.

What can they do for the next three days? Game of Football? Rugby? Athletics? Cycling? Kabadi?

Don’t be so ridiculous Bairstow played well in Sri Lanka then they sent him home fior 2 tests

Cricket reporting is, like the game, traditionally reserved and respectful. But for once I sincerely hope Atherton, Agnew, Vaughan, etc etc really go to town on this. They should stand up and be counted and really layy into to the Indian Cricket set up and the ICC for letting this go on.

Awful captaincy to only play spinner aswell.

Bad 2 days for cricket all round and now the experts will be saying the pitch isn't bad as they chased it with no losses.

He's a shambles. Did you look at those two balls he faced? Pathetic and while non of them except for root have done well he stand out head and shoulders as being the most clueless on this tour.

Shortest completed test match since the war

Still, India got want they so desperately needed , a place in the World Test Championship Final.

A 5 day test match finished in 2 days - a 2nd day pitch playing like its a 4th day track - England may well have lost but cricket is the biggest loser

Bit harsh considering some of the great innings he has played. The number of good batsmen who got lbw was amazing. Were they guilty of not getting forward enough, rabbits in headlights. But two things in defence of the players the pink ball and the pitch.

Vaughan is outspoken about the pitch, especially on Twitter but the trolling he gets from Indian fans (who basically think it is solely down to sour grapes because England lost) is quite staggering.

Cook and Strauss were interesting to listen to between innings.

On this tour
he’s played 2 innings and got out cheap like every other player bar Crawley 1st innings
Been sent hone and then brought back and put straight into team isn’t the best preparation is it

They really wouldn't be experts if they said that.

India needed to chase 49, got some luck with byes and throw the bat at it. The 17 wickets that fell in the first two sessions of day 2 is where the pitch should rightly be criticised.

England’s all time highest run scorer has just said he wouldn’t know how to play Ashwin with that ball on that pitch.
Cookie had a great defence as well.
Says it all really
