Glad you posted this, for some reason I thought it started on Friday
Thanks

Wanted to get Broad in but his and Archers batting has been that bad of late so it has to be Woakes, otherwise tail would be too long.

Crawley
Sibley
Bairstow
Root
Stokes
Pope
Foakes
Woakes
Archer
Leach
Anderson

Stone showed promise last Test, I might be tempted tom play him ahead of Archer. Woakes deserves a go in what should be friendly conditions for him.

Who irons these days? Unless its a cheap alternative to using the toaster.

Oh there's plenty!

Shirts, blouses and t shirts (now known as 'tops'), jeans and cords (bottoms?) and of course, the bedding and the tea towels.

I'm hoping we are close to a ton on the board with less than three wickets gone by the time it gets put away.

In a day night test, Broad, Anderson and Archer simply must play. If we play 4 quicks then I’d favour Woakes as despite my earlier comment I do like having a stronger batsmen when there is a choice for the 4 seamer spot.
