Yet to test positive for Covid. All since daughter went back to nursery after summer holidays.

covid for Xmas will just top it off now

I've still got the snots on a morning from my lurgy from a few weeks back. I think the kids been away from school for so long with the lockdowns has definitely played a part in this cold that has been doing the rounds for weeks now.

Feeling fine though. Weird.

I found the opposite experience I cant remember having a cold in two years i guess a benefit of working from home, not socialising as much and wearing a mask in public.

Wife and daughter on their second colds in just a few weeks, not covid, just the school petri dish. I’ve escaped so far (🤞🏻) which is unusual as I normally get manflu if someone coughs down the phone at me.

Had my booster and flu jabs yesterday and felt awful last night and when I woke up at 5. Neg LFDs though and a shower and lemsip has perked me up a bit

I too am on my 3rd cold in several weeks as is my wife, however my symptoms are a billion times worse than hers for some reason.

When you say test negative for Covid, is this LFT? All mine were negative for a whole week, until on Friday I felt worse so booked in for a PCR, which then tested positive. Because of the negative tests, I spread it to my wife and 6 people at work. Thee LFT is rubbish!! If I’m doing, get a PCR.

Oh fight fight. Want there 2 lads on here supposed to meet at Albert Park for a fight and there were messages on here like I am at the swings where are you... I am at the swings too are you at the big swings or the baby swings...

That was a great thread like the Ali foreman press conference.

Anyway fight fight fight
Nah it was tongue in cheek of course, I couldn’t fight sleep. Missed that thread but sounds entertaining haha

super spreader

If I get symptoms which last beyond feeling a bit crap for one night I'll get a PCR done, but other viruses are available. Sometimes, especially as winter draws in, its a cold and this year they can be real stinkers because we've had a year off from colds

Been a weird 18 months or so. I was on furlough last year and barely saw a soul during the initial lockdown, but am back in work this year and braving a long (public transport) commute every day. I definitely feel more resilient towards anything that might happen, now.

Well the management in the company I work for haven`t learnt from the last 2 years

5 people all in the same meeting have come down with Covid after one of the Regional Managers attended and held a meeting in the office whilst ill

It`s why I`ve refused to go back to the office when people are putting targets above the health of the workforce

I am very wary now and would like to see more people acting responsibly. This means if feeling ill work from home. Was in a Costa Coffe Shop this morning and a lady cane in with her pushchair and two young children. Both of them were hacking and coughing for England and she didnt seem to care. I was compelled to leave straight away as I just knew they were just soreading germs around.

Been flat out since Tuesday evening but PCR test came back negative. No idea what I’ve had but just starting to feel a bit better today.

I've been suffering with a mild head cold the last few days.

I've had a runny nose, sore throat and my head's felt a bit stuffy but in fairness I'm already starting to feel better. Usually when I get a head cold it knocks me for six and can last weeks.
