3rd cold type illness in 6 weeks

Mate, I was wandering around all afternoon with ukulele over me shoulder. I serenaded the ducks with some 12 bar blues and even popped in the top house for old times sake.

Cheers. I got it last year as I was living at my parents house due to divorce and them both being deemed at risk re covid etc. I’m 49 now so guess I won’t be eligible, wish I was though as might’ve avoided this current illness whatever it is if I’d had it.

I was prepared to pay TBH but they've made it free for over 50s this year. I've had it every year since I moved back to the UK and (touch wood) haven't had a heavy cold or flu in that time.

There has been a stinker of a cold virus doing the rounds. I had the usual symptoms, cough, snot, claggy windpipe plus one day when I felt like I'd smoked a bag of skunk. Totally spaced out. Weird.
 
I have been offered my Flu jab by Txt message. Please see your Dr or Pharmacy, now that made me giggle, think I'll go to the Pharmacy, I may get an answer when I ring.
 
Me, my wife and 2 daughters (4 and 1) all tested positive for COVID over the last 2 weeks. Just mild cold like symptoms for me and the girls but the Mrs has been really unwell.

Ive had to take time off work to look after everyone. I’m knackered!
