It may have been a smets1 but chances are it's been remote upgraded to smets2 as most have by now, although a few stragglers but if they can't connect to it they'll fit their own pretty quicklyJust signed up using your referral link @ThatFragranceGuy
Completely fed up of Eon Next's terrible customer service and the initial tariff I'll be put on is a little cheaper than my fixed deal with Eon (no exit fees thankfully).
I have SMETS1 meters but made by Secure and the signup info said that Octopus can read the Secure SMETS1 so should be good to switch to the tracker too![]()
I reckon your referrals must cover your bills by now?I'll check tomorrow, as long as you see the £50 in your account it'll all be good I'm sure. Cheers!

If you've got a smart meter they can do it really quickly, was same for us. Think standard meters still take a couple of weeksEmail says my start date will be this Friday, didn't realise it was that quick!
Refund from old supplier you mean?If you've got a smart meter they can do it really quickly, was same for us. Think standard meters still take a couple of weeks
One thing to be aware of is final bill process uses a third party and it can take about 6 weeks to get a refund but its industry wide
Yeah. So they will issue you a final bill and after that it all goes to a third party for verification. Recomended to take meter readings and screenshots just in caseRefund from old supplier you mean?
I'll take some screenshots of Eon Next page as they owe me £600+ credit and I don't trust them one little bit!
Gas meters only wake up every 30 minutes and have no power of their own so will often lag a bitOctopus account is already showing serial number of electricity meter, but not the gas meter (yet).

On the lcd display in the house or in the meter? I'd tweet them they should be able to check diagnostic messages remotely. They should last years really and yeah they would book a metering operative to come out and do itI think I saw a message about low battery on mine, even tho it's only 2 years old. Shld I let Octopus know, or can they tell? I assume they have to sort it?

48.29 elec, 26.84 gasWhat are the standing charges on the tracker?
48.29 elec, 26.84 gas
Does it not do gas? I like the visuals in it but can't see anywhere to get it to show the same for gas unless I am missing somethingit's on IOS too, I find it better than Octo aid for a couple of things, like the visuals on upcoming rates and the phone/ watch notifications.
