I'm trying to think of a better striker that's not a loanee we've had in the last 15 years. As Bamford and Chuba weren't out and out strikers, I'm struggling? Negredo maybe, Stuani but didn't really play as a striker for us?

Can’t think of a better proper “number 9” we’ve owned since the days of Jimmy / Viduka… 20 years!

That sounds like OTT praise, but it’s more just that we’ve signed a lot of rubbish in the meantime

Must be worth north of 15m already. Azaz for 2.5m is looking good value could easily be worth double already. Then there’s Gilbert for up to 900k looks like he might be able to progress into a proper championship player. Rav who cost 300kish must be worth north of 12m. Dieng cost 2m and worth at least 6z. The squad is getting better and better. I feel good about next year if we can keep most of the squad together
