Yet more reports of MLS interest in Matt Crooks

I'll be sad to see him go, i think he's half decent and off the bench he's a good option in multiple positions but hopefully next season we'll have a better squad which would mean he would struggle to even get game time off the bench so can't fault him for seeking alternatives and a move to the US for his family could be brilliant, don't know what his life goals are or his families long term plans but a move to the US could be a part of it so fair play. If he goes, he goes with my thanks and good wishes.

So what you are effectively saying is thanks and goodbye to Matt Crooks

Is he fully fit? I assumed his lack of game time was he was being managed like Coburn? Is he just dropped despite our lack of forwards and finishing / goal threat?

MLS transfer window is open till April 23rd. Roster compliance date is February 23rd. So not sure if any transfer needs to be complete before the roster deadline or it's just to show they are inside the budget rules at that point. Season starts that week. You'd think they'd want him before that date if they want him this season.

Experience is underrated, with a goal or assist 1 in 2.5 games this year so far.
As solid a pro as you could want.
People always want shiney new things, but it takes experience and nous to get out of this league, with a depth of squad.
You'd presume that you'd be moving towards Azaz as the 10 next year, but Crooks is a solid squad utility player.

If Azaz is next yeasr number 10, then we should be using the remaining games to get him bedded in, so he hits the ground running next season
