Azaz

Barlaser was very good once he settled down after a sloppy start. He was running the game in the 2nd half.
I agree and thought with him not on the pitch we lost control of the game as he has a knack of always being available for the ball and gets us playing.

It was a difficult call as you could see both Forss and Greenwood where tiring and Hackney and Azaz where having an off game in the main even though a lot of our could play and chances I thought come from nice touches or play from Azaz but he is still finding his feet in a new team

Wow, I saw something completely different. Best half he's played in a while from what I saw. I'll have to watch the game again after all the negative comments
I do get people have a varying opinion of the game and pick up on different things. However, to say Hackney was excellent is wildly off the mark. I suppose, so is the opinion he was dreadful. He did some things well….retrieving the ball and then did poor things…. ball retention and passing.

Apart from the chance he should have buried thought Azaz had a steady 6/10 performance. Some good, some bad and some ugly. Nothing to be unduly worried about.

Just needs some time setting in 👍

Azaz was awful, really awful.
Again.

If he is the replacement for Rogers then God help us.
To be fair people were saying Rogers was awful after the same amount of games at the start of the season.

He’s been underwhelming so far but I’m not sure he’s comfortable on the left, need him in the middle and McGree back on the left.

I didn't say that about Rogers at all.
It was easy to see Rogers had ability and talent after his debut - and I posted so.
This bloke doesn't.

You'd think we'd be a little less keen to write people off after a few games after what we've seen recently with Barlaser, Rogers etc.

I thought he was struggling, especially first half, to know where he was supposed to be position wise. Howson and Greenwood both had a go at him for not being in the right place, Greenwood was getting particularly annoyed.

But you'd imagine that is something that he will improve on as he gets used to the team. I would have taken him off rather than Greenwood, but if Greenwood was injured / cramping up then fair enough.

Way too early to make a proper assessment of him, new club, teammates and relocation. Very, very harsh for people to single him out today in the circumstances of the match.

Hopefully most of our fans will be wait and give him time to fit in.

He scored against us this season and obviously impressed our management sufficiently for them to sign him.

I am a big fan of Howson but I think three times he gave the ball away to them in very dangerous positions he did knock some nice through balls though.

I thought Barlaser played well today.

He’s scored 7 and assisted 5 this season included some great goals. He clearly has ability.

He’s played 3 games think we need to calm down a bit here. He should be played as a 10 not left side. Doesn’t suit him

You have to remember that Barlaser, Rogers, Engel and Silvera are THE worst signings in the history of Boro, ever.

Couple of games in, written off.

Azaz is just following in the long line........
