Most other countries couldn't give a damn either. It's the country reputation and standing in the world turning us into a laughing stock

Ah so we are allowed to make things up now? Good to knowTwo that we know of. If he’s prone to violent responses there may well be more.
I don't think it is hard. He made a msitake. To lose his way of livng fo rthat mistake is a crazy over reaction. It’s hard to feel sorry for him, he knew exactly what he was doing with that article and what the reaction would be. No surprise Amazon don’t want any further association with him.
Sad that something as minor as this has clearly wound him up so much to the extent he felt he needed to write that
No, I’m just saying we can’t dismiss it as ‘only two’. Anyway, one is too many.Ah so we are allowed to make things up now? Good to know
He’s made mistake after mistake over the years. To be honest it was incredible he was still on TV anyway.I don't think it is hard. He made a msitake. To lose his way of livng fo rthat mistake is a crazy over reaction.
he's not really being deprived a living though is he ? Amazon have made a call (which is entirely theirs to make) that they no longer want him associated with their brand ... that's up to them ... he's not been fired (not like you or I might be), hell he's going to have shows on amazon at least until 2024 I believe ... they're just not going to make any more, which is again up to them ... he has other work and he'll have other opportunities - whether his existing shows (or rebadged equivalents) get picked up by other companies, or he does something new ... he'll probably bring a book out and call it 'Clarkson: Cancelled' and it'll probably sell a **** ton ... he's not exactly going to be heading down the food bank any time soon ... let's have some perspective here. He'll be fine, you don't have to worry about him.I'm not painting it as anyones fault. Why, in the modern world, does everything have to be so divisive? "Oh you defend Clarkson therefore you hate Meghan, and are probably raicst".
No, it doesn't work like that outide of social media. Peeopel have opinions, they differ, they discuss, they either agree or decide they don't. So no, don't think in defending Clarkson I'm attackign someone else. I've said the article is wrong. The perma angry world we live in though dictates the following: Man makes a mistake, man shoudl therefore be deprived of a lviing, tarred and feathered and forever ostracised from society. I can't get with that modern thinking. I really can't
Sherlock - We will never have equality and will continue to see women physically and verbally abused when people are willing to make excuses for the perpetrator as some of the posters above are doing. Two that we know of. If he’s prone to violent responses there may well be more.
you'll have, I believe, 2 more seasons of Clarkson's farmI don't feel sorry for Clarkson, he appears to be a knob, but he makes good TV. I don't read his articles or value his opinions, I just like GT & Clarkson's Farm and feel it would be a shame if these ended.
I don't blame H & M - I applaud their stance. I agree with their descriptions of the press.
Clarkson leads a privileged life and if he didn't make another penny he'd be fine. Good for him. But I would have liked to see more Clarkson's Farm - I think it is a really good programme and really highlights the issues faced by farmers and Caleb is funny.
I think most of us would loose our jobs if we wrote something like that on social mediaI don't think it is hard. He made a msitake. To lose his way of livng fo rthat mistake is a crazy over reaction.
So you're justifying violence because you don't like the people?"More violent"? He's hit two people in his entire life. One lost him his job and cost the BBC millions. the other was Piers Morgan ergo, doesn't count.
Obsud? So you can be a total pr*ck but because your show is popular you should be untouchable. Fortunately it doesn’t work that way.Totally obsurd the grand tour is one of the few shows I watch in prime and Clarksons farm is great

LOL.Suits
Don't be dissing suits, it's better than the sopranos and breaking bad.LOL.
People ahve called for him to be sacked from ITV too. People on here do want to deprive him of a living. Which is a fairly gross over reactionHe hasn't been deprived of a living per se, just with Amazon. If I was the CEO I wouldn't want him being associated with the Amazon brand too despite the fact I hate what Harry is currently doing.
Wow, I guess that's more of the social nedia world you live isn't it? You're equating someone who mid a badly timed joke about another celebrity with someone who actively promotes misgyony and has just been arrested for Rape and people traffiking. Seems a bit extremeI don't see it as being perma angry, he hasn't been short of work since he was allegedly woke cancelled by the bbc and he won't be short of work after this, but they don't want to be currently associated with him which is fair enough. Actions have consequences, see Andrew Tate.
