We looked solid from open play all game, but can't defend set pieces.

Overall happy enough with the performance - but we are started from such a poor place mentally.

Can't understand why Chuba didn't come off with 20 to go - he was knackered.
 
Why do our players not try to head the ball at set pieces? Attacking or defending we have so few even trying to get on the end of crosses.

Akpoms goal came from a fluke that none of PNEs got a head to the ball either.
 
Long way to go, lot of points to play for......but Carrick needs to steady this listing ship quickly. Not taking chances and conceding bad goals......only one outcome sadly 😳😳
 
We can’t defend set pieces and don’t score our chances that’s relegation for me. Players we bought in over the summer are poor. Muniz can’t be bothered, Giles a one trick pony and the keeper just getting game time for the World Cup.

I think it's more than he's been here a few months and we've coached a bit of Boro anti-magic in to him. Looked great when he first arrived. Steadily getting worse week by week. Unlucky Fulham. Clubs would be mad to let their CFs anywhere near a boro loan.
 
Just not picking players up.

They had spare men coming in from wide positions time and again. We just weren't picking them up.

Akpom was really good today though.
 
Defence is a shambles, worst I’ve seen in years. Lenihan May as well not be on the pitch, Fry was awful today, as was Jones mostly

This is the same set of players Wilder had at his disposal.
Quite what we're expecting Carrick to do with them I'm not sure.
The club is a shambles and this summer's transfer debacle will come back to haunt us.
Thousands of mugs, like me, have been sold season tickets on the back of lies.
Gibson should hang his head in shame.

Steffen wont be in the US squad. He is 4th choice.
 
Must be one of the most mentally weak squads we've had for many a year. They are pathetic.

To be honest I'm losing interest in football full stop and have for some time. Gibson's decision is atrocious, it's wore me down. Clubs with a fraction of our resources outperform us season after season because they don't have an arrogant, out of touch owner calling all the shots on footballing matters.
