Ye it’s all the bechamel sauce for me whether the parmo is going to be any good
Me too, had one and they are vile. They look a disgusting mess and taste just as badAm I the only Teessider who has never eaten a parmo? They look horrible., like something that has already been eaten once and then been thrown back up on to a plate.
I've been Veggie for 35 years and obviously never had one. My wife loves them! She says they are often better the next day after being recooked in the oven and makes them crispy again.Am I the only Teessider who has never eaten a parmo? Chicken..........................should be pork for a real one.I think they are really nice as long as the chicken is nice and crispy and hasn't gone soggy, otherwise it's all a bit mushy.
Also I think you need onion or cabbage or some spice to cut through the creaminess.
Exactly this.I don't dislike a parmo, nor do I get the obsession with them. Probably have one once every 2 years if I'm home and there's a good one on offer, some places do them and its like slop or way too big. A reasonable sized one, not too much topping and baked well is quite nice. Equally happy to order something else though tbh.
