Rate my takeaway - Hartlepool

Am I the only Teessider who has never eaten a parmo? They look horrible., like something that has already been eaten once and then been thrown back up on to a plate.
Me too, had one and they are vile. They look a disgusting mess and taste just as bad

I don't dislike a parmo, nor do I get the obsession with them. Probably have one once every 2 years if I'm home and there's a good one on offer, some places do them and its like slop or way too big. A reasonable sized one, not too much topping and baked well is quite nice. Equally happy to order something else though tbh.

I've been Veggie for 35 years and obviously never had one. My wife loves them! She says they are often better the next day after being recooked in the oven and makes them crispy again.

I enjoy a takeaway hotshot parmo every now and again, but I've got to be in the mood, and it's got to be from Divine Greek or Four Seasons (Stockton) which are restaurant quality.

I watched it last night. Just really made me want a parmo. I've not had one in a couple of years as stuck down south.

I wondered if just eat would deliver 300 miles 😂. I'd have a few jalapeños on mine. It used to be my go to drunken food. I could comfortably consume that 2000 calories in one sitting lol.

Also the burger looked nice.

He tried Manjaros in Boro and loved it.

Never understood the obsession with them myself like.

Absolutely love them - couple of months ago was my first visit back home (since leaving around 20 years) where I didn't have one! Quickly rectified on a subsequent visit shortly after I might add!

Was lucky to go to Newcastle for Uni, they had some pretty decent imitations back in the day. Sheff is a bit of a parmo wasteland unfortunately.

My favourite place for a parmo is (or should I say was) The Vault in Marske.

I say was, because they've announced this week they can't afford to say open anymore due to energy prices.

Another reason to hate the Tories.

Exactly this.
