Yep, this place has become far too serious lately, used to be good for a laugh once… I only really come on to find out any transfer gossip now.

No doubt I’ll be labelled a racist, brexiteer tory for daring to criticise this place now 🙄

But I'm not left wing. According to quite a few on here I'm either 'on the right wing of the Labour Party', 'Tory-Lite' or 'Fake Tory'.

I’m not so sure, to be honest. I know some folk get aggressive too quickly, or start name calling or getting personal, and that is undeniable, unfortunately. Happens on both sides though. For every unreasonable ‘Johnson voters/Brexiteers are thick’ comment, I’ve seen just as many ‘part of a left wing Labour clique/ this is just a left wing echo chamber intolerant of anybody else’s opinion’ which is equally unreasonable and just as insulting, to be honest.

Sometimes though, the line between simply holding an opposing view, and defending the indefensible, is blurred. This board has also always attracted it’s fair share of shills and disingenuous posters, who will get banned then re-register and start the same process again and again, so it’s difficult to know who simply holds an opposing view and whether that is formed through innocence/ naivety or completely understandable political ignorance, or is an attempt to manipulate and drive the debate away from the points being discussed. Not everyone is as they seem on here, as we know.
It is bizarre that people don’t seem to understand why there are so many political threads though, on a forum that covers such a wide range of topics, especially when we are living through one of the worst and most significant periods of political turmoil in decades.

I know what you're up to here Muttley. You just want me to explain the mating habits of the bum faced folk to you. That's not going to happen mate. This is a family board. If it's filth that you're after then you'll have to go elsewhere to find it.
