Unless he wins a vote heavily it will be a disaster for the Tories and even then it will still be bad because he will inevitably be caught lying and cheating time and time again in the coming months and the party will become ever more toxic. Well deserved.

Even if he wins the vote by a fine margin it will be a disaster as he will not step down as may did, for example. Add to that he is safe for another year and he may well end up suspended from Parliament.

If it was any other countries democracy being dragged through the mud we would all be tittering

What is crazy about the Fail is that they are just Pro-Boris, not Pro-Tory. The Tories need rid of Johnson and if they did it would do Starmer harm. They are actively campaigning for a Tory defeat at the next GE by supporting Johnson.

173 on it. He’s needs 180 anything less than 200 will be disastrous and could trigger a general election

They are pro right wing of the Tory Party and they see Johnson as the only acceptable face of it. Even they can’t back another far right candidate who would be seen to be even remotely electable. Just look at them. Patel Raab Sunak Mogg Gove Javid Truss Dorries. It’s a nightmare team of politicians.

Almost as if that sort of ideology and those sorts of policies tend to only attract delusional, morally bankrupt idiots isn't it?

Of course Boris is all of those things too but he has (or at least had) charisma too which helped sell the lunacy.

The rest of them are about as charming as a kick in the nuts.
