Thought this would make an interesting discussion, anyone remember anyone Boro were extremely close to signing before it either fell through or they ended up stinking somewhere else out?

They would have still made us better though, albeit probably not enough to stay up.
 
How did Muniz do for Fulham this year? Genuine question as I don't recall ever hearing his name throughout the season. But that might just be my own ignorance.

Well I've said Deulofeu has had his moments but I disagree about Bojan.

He made a name for himself coming on late for a great Barcelona side against tired teams, surrounded by superstars, and picking up quite a few cheap goals.

It's 11 seasons since he played for Barca, and he still has more career goals for them than for everyone else combined, despite playing in the USA and Japan, and taking quite a few penalties.

Maybe so, and then we'd have been stuck with their big contracts. Overall, we would have been worse off for signing them.
