Ah right got it, doh! She did work in family court for many years. The US system is a bit different in as much as its try and win. In the uk its more of a process.

I think the issue needs to be highlighted and pressure put onto Man Utd.. very uncomfortable with the idea of things like these been swept under the carpet.

I do get that, and every woman in that situation has my complete and utter sympathy. My wife was knocked about by her first husband. She left him, lived in a bed sit and worked two jobs- not everyone can do this. However the advice she received was once a wifebeater the likelihood is always one.

It isn't really up to man utd to sweep anything under the carpet. We have a fairly robust judiciary and supporting investigative branch, the met police aside. Justice will take it's course in the matter, of that I am sure.
 
That recording is awful and very damning to Greenwood. It certainly looks like he's a real scumbag and if the situation is as it seems he must be charged for domestic abuse and perhaps rape (if indeed he forced her into it).

My older sister, who is, in no way shape or form, a victim, fell victim to domestic abuse. It's difficult to understand until you talk to a victim of domestic abuse.
