It was the disappointment I think that made her cry. Not being able to do anything this weekend. Hopefully she will be up and about in a day or so.My girls have caught it a few times (7 and 9) and the little was scared at first and upset about not seeing friends. After the initial day of feeling rubbish they were both fine with it.
Get the Disney movies out
She has an intermittent headache and a bit of a temperature at the minute CtC. She feels a bit poorly, I would say. My wife tested today, negative, I am going to leave it a couple of days and do my own test. Not going anywhere now for the week anyway, but it would be good to know if we are infected, even asymptomatically.
You feed your kids sprouts? Surprised he hasn't emancipated himself. My lad tested positive on Saturday, he wasn't really poorly just had a bit of a sniffle and only tested because he had a mate coming round who was having his 2nd jab so he didn't want his mate to test positive and miss his 2nd vaccine.
He was distraught for 3 reason
1) He missed his football match against his local rivals
2) It meant we didn't go out for Sunday lunch so he had to have a proper homemade roast dinner (with sprouts)
3) He didn't get a full week off school as he tested positive on a Saturday his 5th day yesterday so thanks to negative test yesterday and today he is now back at school (for what he calls the 2 worst days of the week)
2nd time both him and the Mrs have had but I've managed to avoid it
That's a good point on isolation festa. I want too be able to do stuff next weekend. Cheers.I'd get testing yourself if I were you. If you're gonna get it best find out asap and get the clock started on the isolation period. My entire household has it, but I tested negative for 5 days after the first child got it. Which means it'll likely have been 15 days in total before we can all go out together now.
The reduced 5 days isolation is just a bit of a nonsense (suspect it's just a hollow sop to certain Tory backbenchers) I don't know anyone who's had it who's then tested negative on day 5. The vast majority still tested positive on day 10.
Definitely good advice from Festa, I've just had it. Tested negative on days 7 and 8.That's a good point on isolation festa. I want too be able to do stuff next weekend. Cheers.
