I don't think they can; it will just encourage other clubs/companies to try and do the same thing.Would be awful to see them go out of business I wonder if the taxman will reduce his bill.
at least as far as where darlo were put i would hope. what a shame eh!How many leagues can they be relegated.
Although sentiment wouldn't want some of us to see this happen, it would open up a minefield that other teams would try and exploit. Something Derby has been guilty of in the past.Would be awful to see them go out of business I wonder if the taxman will reduce his bill.
Exactly. It would be disgusting if the Inland Revenue made any allowances. The club deserves what it gets. Yes, it will be a shame for the fans but they will no doubt restart under a slightly different name and go on.
We had to pay ALL our debts IN FULL!
Henry Moskavitz pumped in £300,000We were also kicked out of Ayresome and would have been kicked out of the WHOLE of the football league had we failed to pay before the midnight deadline.
I believe the lion's share of the debt 1.9m (loans???) acquired by the make-shift consortium came from S&N breweries and ICI.
I'm not sure if the 1.9m was before or after the taxman was paid
