*The earlier-than-usual unofficial "Official" Coventry v Boro Matchday thread*

It's early days give the amount of changes to the squad and any manager needs a bit of time to work out the best formula, so I'll reserve judgement for now, but the signs so far this season don't seem to be too positive do they.
I disagree I think individually we look to have improved the squad significantly certainly attack wise we just need to get the balance right and get ia winning formation

Same problems, performance and glaring issues as we've had from just after Christmas for me.

Three CB's to be played? We only have three in the squad.

Left back injured? We have no covering left back.

Dijksteel not as good as wing back? No problem, we'll just keep doing it.

Want to keep mixing it up and playing with wing backs? No problem, we'll release or loan out our RWB and two LWB's.

Striker isolated? We'll play one up top regardless.

Lacking numbers, bite and goals from midfield? We'll move on Morsy & Wing.

It just seems a continuation of a well meaning, kindly, old fella running out of ideas.

What is our played/won/lost and goals scored / against since the turn of the year?

I want him to go out with a bang as I've always quite liked Warnock, but we look miles away from pushing the top six, nearer to 10th-14th on current displays.

Long way to go, and lots of new players to integrate.

I live in hope.

I agree the squad is significantly better than last seasons and NW does need time to make it come together, but with that the expectations are higher now too.
