3.5bill between, not each. It's less than 300mill each and if they are banned from the prem and champs league next season, then most of that will be lost. Then thir is the loss of advertising revenue, because sure as **** advertising on these clubs is a sure fire way of losing customers. So it's official, its going ahead as soon as practically possible
Founding clubs will receive £3.5 billion to commit to it
The fans do, it's the billionaire arabic owners that haven't got a clueMan City were playing in the English Third division in 1998 - you would think they understand about what football dreams are about.
Now all clubs are equal but some are much more equal than others with the formation of the new European Super "snouts in the trough" League.
I wouldn't be surprised if he resigns next week, he's largely a man of integrity and he won't be short of offers elsewhereKlopp has spoken out about this
They'll be counting on not being kicked out. They'll now take a divide and conquer approach. They're taking a huge gamble on revenue from Asia. They'll lose membership of their domestic leagues and competitions. Their 'fans' are used to regular success but, by definition, most of them will be unsuccessful in this new league. I don't think they'll hold on to their fans. Nobody watches a Harlem Globetrotters game to support the Washington Generals, especially if they're kicking off at 4 am for the Chinese market.
having seen the number of fans from each of these 'big' clubs that are incensed I think they are gonna struggle to divide and conquer. Other club owners will see the opportunity to actually have some success. Championship teams will see the Premier League as maybe not as financially lucrative but a lot closer. They'll be counting on not being kicked out. They'll now take a divide and conquer approach.
Also Tottenham's fans aren't used to regular success. That's why they've been invited. They need someone to finish bottom.

Even before Covid the percentage of income through the gate of PL clubs was only around 13%. They decided to put things in place to stick fingers up to fans years ago and now they feel empowered to do so.problem is-- one thing COVID has kind of proved at least in the short term-- the big clubs don't need the fans.
I'll be interested to see some players comments from those clubs. The idea they can never play for their country again and be absolutely hated if they support the move to the european league by the fans in their own city.
