Music

Not difficult at all. I recently watched Otoboke Beaver and Boy Girl Drinking School to fill my needs in that direction. I've never found that Butson's "Difficult Done to Death" album I remember seeing in Alan Fearnleys'

Fantastic indeed. I remember him playing at Coatham Bowl and making everyone sit on the floor for the entire set. And that is a great version of Brel. I also like the fact that Christopher Brookmyre named one of his recurring characters after Zal Cleminson.

Sat at work a bit lonely a bit like Charlton Heston in the Omega Man... and feel a bit glum today, just done the generator test and the EM lights in Middlesbrough. So I thought Id have a cup of coffee and a bag of crisps and listen to some Dylan.

Love this song a true story and the bloke who did the terrible deed only received jail not long ago really. Powerful words by Bobby.

Amazing the amount of quality music that small populous produces. KEXP station do some great showcases there, displaying unique sound and vision.

Chris Hawkins played Is This The Life this morning (requested by a listener for the 5.15 slot). Long version. It put a massive smile on my sleepy face.

This is one Album from a great band I really liked and still often play, some members went on to join the The Eagles.
Country style in a lot of respects but this track, I think reminds me of the Beatles in the way its arranged?

Last Cardiacs link, honest ... if you're self isolating and bored this is a great way to spend an hour and ten minutes. Perfect introduction to the madness of their live shows with all the interstitial nonsense ... and a blinding version of Is This The Life to close the set. Probably my favourite line up, with Sarah on sax ... cute and completly nuts.

Harvey Andrews is one of my top Folkies, some say its a lot of Folk.
His song the Soldier is a favourite of many, but the album writer of Songs is top o.
