Music

I tell you what, It's worth an hour or two to just work through this thread. Some great stuff ... and it's always nice to be introduced to something new (to you).

WTF. None of you? There must be a Cardiacs fan amongst you. And if not, there should be quite a few. Try this (and then go back to Dirty Boy)

Oh yes, well played Sir! Sound and vision tops. Will check out that A Little Man and a House album for sure. 1988 release surprised me, See they've supported the Wildhearts in the past too.

Ginger is a massive fan. Sadly Tim Smith is very very poorly, so there will be no more Cardiacs music. Check the whole of the Sing to God album on youtube. Dirty Boy is a masterpiece.

Just came across this, not heard it before, quite like it, hopefully my mate erimus11 will come along with a bit of an update

Love this track, not a big fan of NS, probably a dozen or so tracks I like
Wish I got into the music a bit more, my late brother was a NS DJ I went to one or two with him, wish I'd gone TO more TBH

Love this Barry Biggs, remember buying this single, ah those were the days, Crows fair at Albert Park, 75ish 👍

Brilliant. Did you see that Killing Joke - I am the virus followed that.

Werbeniuk only 115 views in 4 yrs,and i think i might have accounted for 10% of that. utb

Killing Joke/IATV didn't follow on mine but i am now enjoying going down that rabbit hole. Lyrically apt to say the least. utb

Thought Id put a few songs on from the fourth year of my time at school.
The album Rattus Norvegicus is up there with the best of them for me, great album with every track a gem imho

The lyrics "making love to the Mersey tunnel .......with a sausage have you ever been to Liverpool" are only to be beaten by The Smiths "why do I give valuable time to people who Id much rather kick in the eye"- which for me even a nasty Bob Dylan couldn't have written.

This was my period when I thought I was a poet and would often scribble down all sorts of tripe. I was informed I wasnt a poet or a good one at least, due not because of my limited brain, but the lack of a laced handkerchief.
Anyway I like this next song for its thoughts and also the arpeggio and middle 8 lyrics.
Maybe a bit too heavy for here.
