Emerald.... great track from the fantastic Jailbreak Album a long hot summer of 76 favourite, went to see Lizzy once only, they headlined at Milton Keynes in 1981, two birds with one stone as a big fan of Mott the Hoople who I never got to see, so I really wanted to see The Ian Hunter Band and they were on the bill too.

Here’s a pretty good performance of my fave song. Though I’m not sure how well it will go down here...😕
Give it a chance, and see if your attention span runs to over six minutes.

Absolutly love this, not heard it in years & came on at work one nightshift when driving the van, thought it was Moody Blues & couldn't find who sung it thankfully my good mate put me out of my misery, enjoy 👍

More than happy to resurrect this thread to suggest a good gig coming to The Westgarth. I went to see these last night and they were great. I had one of those awful cross London journeys where no transport is running properly and arrived at the gig in a foul mood, and these glorious girls lifted all the stress and anger from me. The only equivalent I can suggest is if you are a "Remainer" spend the afternoon with a "Brexiteer" and lose all arguments, if you are a "Brexiteer" do the opposite (lose to a "Remainer") then let this band calm you.

Talking with a mate about a drummer friend of ours who died a few years..good drummer and teacher.
He used this as an example with his drum students of the “less is more “ idea.
Saying that the engine room, drums and bass.”Capture this groove and stick it in a pocket deeper than a clown’s trousers” Singer’s not shabby either
