Its a totally different proposition this time.Wont happen. Like last time more people actually oppose independence or just don't speak up about opposing it.
Will be just like last time, lost of tartan anger shouting to be free when the intelligent ones who know what a shitstorm it would be keep quiet and just vote no.
Scotland going independent would make Brexit look like a tea party.

So you think they'd choose to be both out of the UK AND out of the EU ?Its a totally different proposition this time.
It used to be a no-brainer that they were better in the UK and in the EU.
Now they have to literally choose between the two, and it isn't a no-brainer by any means. If anything its the other way.
Northern Ireland not so clear cut, but plenty of debate about it upcoming.
Was only 7 years ago they voted No, do they keep going until they say yes? Once a generation vote as well apparently.
So you think they'd choose to be both out of the UK AND out of the EU ?
The definition of a generation clearly has.Things change.
It was close last time, it wont be close next time. Believe me, most Scottish people don't want independence.
Having lived and worked in Scotland since 1982 I think I've managed to get the jist of where a referendum may go.Your personal knowledge is more reliable than a succession of polls?
The definition of a generation clearly has.
Latest poll i seen had 49% in favour with 4% undecided. So all to play for really by no means a landslide

Most polls are answered but the staunch Independence crowd who dont really understand the meaning of leaving the union, its predominately an anti English stance, a bit like Brexit and immigration. Most people do and want to stay.
The same unanswered questions from last time remain unanswered. The only thing that has changed is the leader.
Sturgeon may not be the leader if she is found to have mislead parliamentHaving lived and worked in Scotland since 1982 I think I've managed to get the jist of where a referendum may go.

True but that wont sway things to independence. I reckon 60/40 in favour of staying with the union. It isn't the only thing. They have had 6 years to ascertain whether Westminster was speaking with fork tongue in 2014.
