Johnson has the virus

"Not sure on incubation time etc but not a good advertisement for government advice on avoiding the virus when the PM contracts it so far into the process"

'm not a fan of Johnson but I don't think this is fair criticism. People will still get it, the measures a merely in force to slow down the rate of infections, and it could happen to anyone

It wasn’t a criticism more an observation and will hopefully make people redouble their efforts to stay safe and away from sources of potential infection

It's true it could happen to anyone but I think it's worth pointing out that he was gleefully flouting the medical experts' recommendations and insisting on continuing to shake people's hands, even in a hospital where coronavirus patients were being treated, well after it was known that this was risky behaviour.

I agree. I would not wish it on anyone.

The video of him saying he will continue to shakes hands with people surpised me. I did not realise he had said that early this month. With his medical adviser alongside him. The face on the adviser when he says it tells a story. (Liamo -sorry for the similar comment - typing at the same time).

Why would they, as he is rightly tested as he is charge of the nation. His actions affect millions of lives (Charles is none of the above).

Just look at the tweet quoted, plenty of people asking that as well

It’s pretty obvious again like Prince Charles why they have been tested

Pm and health secretary must have weakened immune systems through stress Due to amount of work they are currently doing

The only thing I would say re Charles is that the Monarch has a constitutionally important role to play, such as giving Royal Assent to sign bills into Law, removing the PM and asking someone else to form a Government. Given the Queens age and the current health situation, the PM's illness, talk of a cross party government, Charles should be given special treatment. He might well be required very soon.

Ah, the caring human spirit alive and well as demonstrated by those gloating because someone has caught a deadly virus that is killing people. If anything Covid-19 has shown that the morale compass of some people is beyond repair.

You can work that out yourself, don’t be a plank all your life!

Was it me saying 'true' in response to 'People will still get it, the measures a merely in force to slow down the rate of infections, and it could happen to anyone'

Or was it the linked tweet?

I would hate to be disingenuous but the fact that the shoite is about to hit the fan over the next week in terms of deaths and the three people that are responsible for the strategy, PM, Minister of Health and the Chief Medical Officer are unable to face the media or public for at least a week. I am sure it is happenstance though!!!
