All I’m saying is dr June raine (in charge of the vaccine in the uk) yesterday just announced in a blasé way, oh, if you have certain allergies then best not take this vaccine. Eh ? Guinea pigs comes to mind surely ?This type of misinformation is unhelpful, frankly dangerous and for anyone believing it could be even life threatening. Canada, for example has approved it also. I understand you hate Johnson and the tories, thats fine, If you don’t trust the science, then you likely condemn more people to death than necessary and prolong the social misery we currently have.
Because it’s clearly been rushed through and even the medical community are trying to defend it.
If it was done at the correct time and given the amount of scrutiny required then it would’ve been accepted elsewhere
Johnson just wanted some good news ahead of his no deal
We should trust this government in the same way we trusted them on Brexit and, no chance of a no deal, sunlit uplands and piles of money for the nhs .

So, our government ministers can spread misinformation all over the place about this ‘oven ready deal’ not being really about a trade deal (what we’re the public thinking!) and I’m supposed to not say anything about a new vaccine that suddenly people who have allergies can’t take.Obsessed. The thread had nothing to do with Brexit. Stick to a brexit thread for your misinformation and scaremongering

And have some reservations about it and this governments motives for wanting some’good’ news before a great big piece of bad news. No deal Brexit!
I’ll have my say thanks. Just like ministers peddle their’agenda’ (lies) on a daily basis.
Ok let’s me be clear it’s not this government aaagh why do people keep saying that this govt made this vaccine they didn’t look at Canada. We should trust this government in the same way we trusted them on Brexit and, no chance of a no deal, sunlit uplands and piles of money for the nhs .

Link. I'm stunned that there were only 500 positives in 150000 tests in July. It should have been 22,500 plus real positives.Bear - seen the news on PCR false positives today from Cambridge Uni?
Most recently tracking at 18%.
True but this is people lives we are talking about.Oh come on Zorro - there is loads of schoite on here and we’ve all been guilty (even you) at some time.
It really isn’tTrue but this is people lives we are talking about.
I sometimes think some on here think that their views on a football message board carry some weight with the mass population. And by blasting every thread with an endless tantrum ofIt really isn’t
Its a bloke on an FMTTM message board whose views will have no impact on others apart from those getting wound up by them
Good point and no argument there my issue was a poster using the phraseZorro, whilst not arguing against the efficacy or dangers of the vaccine anaphylaxis is a fairly sever problem in the UK, it has increased about 700% since the 90's. It's about 1 in 10,000 in the UK.
I believe the increase is largely in children, which, given they are at less risk from covid-19, is probably significant in terms of weighing the dangers of the vaccine against the dangers of the virus. It is, however, not an insignificant portion of thepopulation. I would also assume that doctors and medical proffessionals would advise on this.
Given that the vulnerability has been identified, and I believe the Pfizer vaccine has the same problem, it can be managed.
It is not misinformation though Zorro, it just has to be understood in context.
I disagree as studies have shown social media can be a very powerful influencer ( not on here by the i never meant that) so if that poster then goes on say twitter or face book etc and extols this same view then yes it can cause harm.I sometimes think some on here think that their views on a football message board carry some weight with the mass population. anti-government nonsense will make a difference. It won't.
