Think the thing with iPhones and Apple products is that you pay a premium for the phone and the tech itself obviously, but you also get to use the premium operating systems, user interface design, app store and all the software, which is the absolute best in the business.
I get why people look at the phones and think they're 30% too expensive, they probably are, and on paper Samsung and Huawai phones have better specs. But use an Android phone for 10 mins after a few years with an iPhone, or Windows 10 after a few years with MacOS, and it's 50% less user friendly than anything Apple. Really you're paying for access to all that design.
I've published apps for both and can tell you that the Apple experience is flawless; Android is chaotic.
