Market day in Stockton......Why not have the midday break, like the old days, 11am to 3pm close, then open again 7pm to 11pm......plenty of time for drinks and meals.
The issue is the mixed messaging. People aren't coming through the doors because they don't know wether they will have money to spend the next week or if people are dropping dead in pubs and restaurants (spoiler, they aren't).Why not have the midday break, like the old days, 11am to 3pm close, then open again 7pm to 11pm......plenty of time for drinks and meals.
Luckily October has always been a quiet month for us anyways whereas most other places are quiet in January we do quite well that month. Plus the missus has been quite shrewd with the household finances this year plus the little bit of cash I came into recently we can survive for a full 12 months if the worst comes to worse and we both lose our jobs (she won't as she's a care assistant). Thousands of others are not in the same position my household is though.Hope your place manages to hang in there Randy, it's an outrageously shocking time for your industry through no fault of your own.
I just hope it doesn't come to you dipping into your savings.Luckily October has always been a quiet month for us anyways whereas most other places are quiet in January we do quite well that month. Hopefully the threat of court action forces the government's hand.
All the pubs I have been have been shoite hot on Covid restrictions but supermarkets seem to be slacking. Hitting the non essential social group won't really resolve the issue. Boris seems happy for us all to go about our day to day business and spread accordingly.
Because many pubs make their profit on food at lunch so can’t see them liking that one bit.Why not have the midday break, like the old days, 11am to 3pm close, then open again 7pm to 11pm......plenty of time for drinks and meals.
Because they do not have any ?The Govt suggest that 30% of transmission is at hospitality venues.
With the track and trace app now up and running I don't see why they can't publish the evidence?
