Time for Gibson to sell up

Or Ipswich, Southampton, West Brom, Leeds, Luton, Burnley, Brighton, Fulham, Coventry etc
Don’t bring facts into this, obviously if Gibson sold it would only go the way of a Sheffield Wednesday. Unreasonable to expect anything less than liquidation in 5 years time

Precisely. No-one knows, so it's better to stay with what we have. Manchester City or Newcastle, my season ticket would be returned.
So because of a few bad owners, we should never change? By that logic we wouldn’t ever make another signing or change managers.

Reality with Gibson is mid table championship with no financial capability to ever compete with the bigger teams. Why wouldn’t we ever want that to change? That’s just about the most boring scenario you can ask for as a football fan

Gibson is bashed win, lose or draw.

The grass is never any greener and when the day comes he departs this football club there are no guarantees that we will be any more succesful.

Gibson loves this football club and the area and we all want the same thing but telling the man to “sell up” after a frustrating defeat is just silly.

You have to say that otherwise you’ll be out of a job Mr Bausor.

Gibson seemed to lose the plot after Eindhoven - could have brought in a real top drawer manager as he promised but decided to go with one of our own players instead. That was probably the worst decision he’s ever made and ultimately put the club back years. We’ve struggled ever since

What has Gibson done recently to make you trust him to run our club?

Kept the club afloat during Covid.

Appointed an excellent manager in Carrick.

Got us with within touching distance of the prem last season.

Improved our scouting and recruitment to the extent that we just made a 700% profit on a summer signing

Don’t forget writing off £107m owed to him.

But we have lost a few games and in mid table to he MUST sell.

Covid is fair enough

Carrick was a decent appointment but the majority have been very expensive disasters

Getting us to touching distance of the premier league in a very unsustainable way which is a huge reason for our struggles this season

That 700% profit on the summer signing that wasn’t reinvested and is the main reason we have gone from challenging for the top 6 to being in a relegation fight in the space of 5 weeks.

Ultimately his record speaks for itself. To go from a premier league club playing in Europe to spending 14 of the last 15 seasons in the championship and looking miles away from promotion just isn’t anywhere near good enough
