Jordan Hugill

Jones wouldn’t have made an apeth of difference to the embarrassment of last night if we give the ball away so cheaply.

It was an accident, the push was unnecessary but he never meant to hurt Jones. Jones wouldn’t have made much if any difference last night although we will miss him for the league games.

Let’s forgive and forget and he grown ups about it.
I was going to say, yeah it’s something that happened, but he didn’t do it to injure him on purpose.

At the end of the day, Hugill will undoubtedly get a lot of stick for this, but does not deserve all the vitrol directed at him from various sections.

This is a stupid thread. It was a clumsy niggly push in the back, that any one of our midfield players is capable of doing, in any game, in any given week.

This was just a forward making his presence felt. Yes, it was a foul.

Of course Hugill didn't expect Jones could be injured. How often does a push in the back result in a player, being injured at all - let alone, missing the next match?

If you gave a yellow card for every push in the back, no game would finish with 22 players and every corner would result in a pen.

Only an incompetent referee wouldn't give that as a penalty if it happened in the box.

That's not a pop at his age, more about his knowledge of the game or the lack of it.
If someone 2 handed pushed me over playing Sunday league I would have got up a tried to headbutt them as it would be a complete liberty and act of aggression. It doesn't just happen and you crack on with it so I don't see your point and seems a lack of knowledge on your part.

I've not seen someone get away with multiple 2 handed pushes with absolutely no chance of getting the ball or after it had gone. It was a f***ing joke and played a huge part in what unfolded last night as our tactics went to s*it as a result.
