I've stayed loyal to my humble barber who struggles to make ends meet and told me there was a chance he was going to close down.

He can't work out how these other barbers seem to be flourishing with all the glitz, expensive chairs etc.

Let's hope he can somehow survive and put food on the table !!!

I know that what you mean we've now got 4 barbers in our village.
Can't believe they are sustainable, just how often do the youths need haircuts?

A bit like the influx of Vape shops and a refusal to accept cards, you’d think having loads of cash on the premises would be dangerous but these kind of shops seem to actively encourage it. They must like the traditional feel of cash as can’t think of any other reason why they’d do it🤭

Used to get my hair cut once a week back in the day. My barber was telling me he has a lad who goes in twice a week. Obviously this is to keep the skin fade fresh but yeah don’t underestimate the youth and how often they get it cut.

Was going to say that… a lot of lads get their “fade done” and beard trimmed at least once a week.

Lots of custom out there for good barbers

Yep once a week for me too. It was a blessing to go bald to just shave it off lol.

Best haircut I've ever had was at Kurdish barbers in Brighton, neat as, trimmed my eyebrows, used that flame thing on my ears which felt weird but nice, offered a beard shave but i didnt want one, just going that extra bit makes all the difference, all for about 15 quid and I gave a fiver tip it was that good. I always go back there.

My dad said they put hot towels around his head in the middle of summer, and also pulled his nose hairs out in one go which made him sweat even more lol.
