NFL - The new season approaches!

Another Dolphins fan/sufferer here.

Hopefully keep Tua fit and firing for the whole season see where that gets us.

Colts; was backpacking in New Zealand in 2007; arrived in Rotorua on a Monday and wandered into a pub to get some lunch. Full of Bears fans watching the Super Bowl. One lone colts fan asked me to be on his side, so i agreed. Colts won and drunk we got. As with any sport, I believe the team chooses you. However, it actually took me until COVID to take a real interest in the game and learn to understand it.

Mind you we've been poor last few seasons, and I think this will be a rebuilding season too, but Richardson could turn out to be a star.

I've also been following the Bengals while the colts have been poor, not least because they're on TV more and are easier to follow. But somehow I identify with the perennial non-achieving under dog from an unfashionable post-industrial dump. Can't imagine why.

This was one of the reasons I picked the Browns (apart from the Cleveland link).

A city in the north east that’s the butt of jokes from the rest of the country with a river that was once so polluted that it caught fire.

Titans Fan. Most of the time it is just like supporting the Boro - unfashionable, lonely and with flashes of promise followed by inevitable disappointment. I am hoping to squeak into the playoffs, but much depends on whether Derrick Henry stays fit.

Lmao just me then? 😁

Just you; I did record it and planned on watching it tonight, but breakfast radio managed to blurt out the score and spoil all that.
Bit of a shock, but the Lions have been improving. Good as Mahomes is, Kelce and Jones would be a loss to anyone.

Joe Burrow: nice work if you can get it.

Packers fan, have absolutely no idea how its gonna go this year post AR...lot will depend on how Love holds up in his first season as a starter. I live in hope and expect to be crying in the early hours as per :sneaky:

They may take a step forward. They have a strong running game that may be utilised properly now AR has gone.

It's a big ask for the Packers and Love IMHO; they didn't make the playoffs with AR, so it's a lot to ask Love to do better than an all time great in his first full season.

In their favour, it doesn't look a great division, but the Lions getting it done last night must prompt some concern?
