More than capable of beating Millwall, with good bench options in Jones, Silvera and Gilbert.
Capable of beating Millwall but would struggle against a lot of sides in the division. More signings needed asap.

Any team is capable of beating anyone in the championship but that team wouldn't finish in the top half. It's scarily weak this close to the start of the season.

Yeah there is a difference between being capable, and being confident in getting consistent results.

I think we're 4, possibly 5, players worse off than last season. I really thought we'd be going for it this season but there's still time to bring better players in before the transfer window closes.
Possibly, but we never really expected Archer, Ramsey and Giles back. That side is top end competitive, Rogers, Gilbert and Silvera might surprise a few, as we’ve played in the EPL once in the last 15 years we are doing all we can to be competitive, it’s how the Championship is. Yes, we could spend big to get the aforementioned loaners back, but that’s no promotion guarantee as we saw last season. Interested to know what exactly would you consider as going for it?

Without knowing about every other side in the Championship in detail it’s difficult to know. Leicester and Saints look strong, but rest is much of a muchness.

Decent workout difficult to judge in these types of games seemed little intensity at all. Bright sparks was Jones Sammy and Payero who I think did well. However Hayden Coulson he is simply woeful very worried if we start the sesosn with him at LB

Which sides in particular?
Leeds, Southampton, Leicester, WBA, Coventry, Norwich etc just my opinion. We're not a millon miles away but last season with Giles, Akpom (still our player but he's missed the whole of pre season pretty much), Ramsey and Archer you felt confident going into any game. I don't think opposition teams would fear us in the slightest at the minute.

So, not sure if it's been asked. With Coulson our only fit full back, why did he play with the reserves tonight? And will he also play on Saturday?

Does it mean we are close to bringing in a first choice left back?

Good to see lads battling back well towards the end, definitely some positives, primarily getting lads who won’t play all too often in the early stages of the season minutes against a winning side lower down the pyramid.

Does very much indicate that although we have greater squad depth now, the gap in quality between our first XI and other options is massive.

We are missing at least 4 decent loan players for me.

Great support again for a mid week friendly - over 1400 - better than 80% of away teams bring to the Riverside.

Also to add to earlier points, Leeds are the promoted side I expect most from. Maresca’s track record in management indicates that even with a squad that is strong as Leicester’s, he could find a way to balls it up. Martin is a long term man and I think they’ll be like 2020/21 Bournemouth, struggle for great swathes but Kamaldeen Sulemana will be their Danjuma and pretty much singlehandedly drag them into the playoffs. Leeds have new investment, a proven manager at this level and a fresh approach to recruitment. If it goes right, they could be frighteningly good. Also don’t think we’ll be that one playoff side who struggle the year after - that mantle will go to Coventry who have lost key players and replaced them with stylistically different talents.

Yes aren’t Park Avenue the only club in Bradford, with City being from Manningham?
No. This is getting silly now. Manningham is closer to the city than wherever (Park Avenue) play. (No one knows where that is. Certainly not on Park Avenue.)
