Your top 5 comedy artistes

I think this list differs throughout the years and very difficult to choose five.

Kenny Everett
Ronnie Barker
Tommy Cooper
The Young Ones
Monty Pythons.

Also a shout out for Laurel & Hardy, Norman Wisdom, George Formby, The Marx Brothers, Abbott & Costello, Morecambe and Wise, Tommy Cooper, The Goodies, d*ck Emery, the Odd Couple, Peter Sellers and Tony Hancock to name a few.

I totally enjoyed Fern Brady's book. Weirdly enough her mother comes out of it an absolute hero, having learned to deal with Fern and her dad.
I'm sure I've seen Daniel Sloss opening for Frankie Boyle. He's very good live, but pings my bigotry bar as I ask myself "is it ok to laugh out loud at a Chelsea fan?"
Very fair 😂

Bill Burr
Tom Segura
Chris Rock
Reginald D Hunter

And of course the inspiration for my username Joey Diaz

Big fan of Theo Von currently but haven’t seen enough of his stand up but his podcast is fantastic, got tickets for him in Manchester in June.

No room for Vic 😳
Nothing against Vic, very much enjoyed shooting stars. But their other joint stuff I found a bit hit and miss (probably a bit too surreal for my tastes to be honest).

Whereas I think Bob on his own in anything is brilliant. WILTY, task master, cats does countdown, gone fishing etc. Just a very naturally very funny bloke.

Hence Bob on his own in my top 5.

I like loads of different comedy artists so it's hard to pin it down to 5. I can say though that Lee Evans is my absolute favourite....he has me crying laughing every time....shame he's packed in

Bob Mortimer
Billy Connolly
Steve Martin
Robin Williams
Dennis & Polly from Redcar
