Nantucket Sleighride - MountainIf asked a few years ago I would have said Close to the Edge - Yes but lately I’ve been immersing myself in Gabriel’s Genesis. There’s a host of candidates but
Suppers Ready, from the album Foxtrot. Wow what a piece of music this is.
..and still going strong (at least Pye Hastings and Geoff Richardson) - saw them at The Cluny a couple of weeks ago.Caravan - Love To Love You (And Tonight Pigs Will Fly)....................is one of many
hmmm, yeah they might be my choice but Hocus Pocus. Are Focus Prog Rock ? if so Sylvia. Although doesn't very prog to me. Not that I know much (anything) about the genre.
Fair enough each one their own - I have the same feeling about the folk music genre (but wouldn’t come on to a thread to diss It). In fact I probably held a similar opinion about Prog at one time but the older I’ve got I’ve spent time listening to it. Some of it is brilliantly put together, melodic and full of emotion. I concede plenty of it isnt but that’s the same with any musical genre And taste.Best prog rock song?
Hmm, I'll have a think about that after I've decided on my favourite bout of piles.
It must be the only rock track (Somebody will prove me wrong) that has yodelling in it! I love this trackhmmm, yeah they might be my choice but Hocus Pocus.
Hasn’t Dreams by the Cranberries got some yodelling on it?It must be the only rock track (Somebody will prove me wrong) that has yodelling in it! I love this track
