Absolutely, I’m with you chucking house bricks through itThat window has a lot to answer for. If I ever get my hands on it I'm going to kick its head in.

I haven’t scrambled about anything.Whats the plan to get the Overton window to move left?
To me it seems odd you'd say that given how you'll scramble about trying to discredit any criticism of Starmer from the left?
In other words, you are going to continue being a dishonest and obstinate debater, got itYou've made no attempt to read the posts in the thread so why should I spend time pointing you to the post in question*? Why is your time more valuable than mine?
Don't even get me started on that odious toad Akehurst and his bald, sex pest mate. I'll say something I shouldn't and get into trouble.Naively I hope that Labour are keeping their policies under wraps, kind of playing a game telling the electorate what they want to hear, doing what they have to do to get into power.
Then, when they are in, slowly start with proper policies that benefit the country not a handful of very wealthy individuals.
Sadly two things. One the country is in such a state, they will be fire fighting from day one. Their policies will simply be damage limitation. Secondly, the likes of Akehurst and that fooking ghoul Mandelson on the scene as part of the NEC / advisors
Despite linking to the post in question in the post you've selectively quoted from. Dishonest and obstinate indeed. In other words, you are going to continue being a dishonest and obstinate debater, got it
Wes Greening and Rachel Reeves are two others that should be nowhere near the Labour party.Secondly, the likes of Akehurst and that fooking ghoul Mandelson on the scene as part of the NEC / advisors
Did anyone say there was.Yes but to pull a power station together involves far more than design and construction - land rights, grid connection, planning, community liaison to name a few, your average design and construct companies cannot do any of that and it takes years and years to do. There has to be decent reward for it or nobody will bother their **** to do it.
But really my point is that the system is complex, there is no magic wand to change it overnight within the economic system we have, it is naive to think otherwise.
That’s an old part of this thread and I think one or two anti Labour/Starmer posters showed a few gaps when discussing the current electricity industry.Did anyone say there was.
Under promise, over deliver is the order of the day, don't give the right wing press any ammunition to say that Labour have failed to do what they promisedNaively I hope that Labour are keeping their policies under wraps, kind of playing a game telling the electorate what they want to hear, doing what they have to do to get into power.
Rachel Reeves talked in detail about policy recently, it just doesn’t get reported when the right wing of the U.K. look like they might lose their grip on power.Naively I hope that Labour are keeping their policies under wraps, kind of playing a game telling the electorate what they want to hear, doing what they have to do to get into power.

well at least we've agreed on your behaviour if nothing else.Despite linking to the post in question in the post you've selectively quoted from. Dishonest and obstinate indeed.
He may, or may not be a psycho but what we do know for certain is that he's a serial liar and a back-stabbing sack of sh*t. All just 'clever politics' or '4 or 5 or 6D chess' (I can't keep up) for 'centrists' though. I'm so glad that the really dishonest and untrustworthy grown ups are back in charge of the party. It would have been awful if we'd had a proper Labour government back in 2017. I'm so grateful to the right of the party for helping to sabotage that.well at least we've agreed on your behaviour if nothing else.
I asked a simple question, if you are not calling Starmer a psycho, who are you calling one? You've refused to confirm who it was but it definitely wasn't starmer and then you claimed by calling someone a psycho you weren't really calling them a psycho, despite giving a lose definition of a psycho.
Then you compare a typographic error to claiming calling someone a psycho doesn't mean they're a psycho, make it make sense!
I'd love to continue this, but my god, you don't just move the goalposts, you move the whole pitch to a new town.....you're MK Dons.
Its a very complicated system we need the Grid Multi National owners to invest heavily to maintain, upgrade and invest in future tech. That’s an old part of this thread and I think one or two anti Labour/Starmer posters showed a few gaps when discussing the current electricity industry.
Spotty on matey.Starmer believes in having centrist policies as he most firmly believes the place to do good is when you are in power not out of it. This is why he is avoiding any controversy, avoiding debates about philsophies, weeding out anyone with a hint of political extremism.
I firmly believe that if Labour win power they will become farther left than what they are promoting now simply because they will have the luxury of being able to do it without worrying about electability.
First task is get into office. All the morals and principles in the world make no difference if they can be manipulated to keep you in opposition.
Plus whilst the Party you are trying to beat are in such disarray why make life hard for yourself.
What’s gone is gone now though and there will be millions of punters like me who voted for Corbyn (twice) and didn’t get a Labour Government (again) and so will now vote for Starmer who looks like he will be able to get us a Labour Government. He may, or may not be a psycho but what we do know for certain is that he's a serial liar and a back-stabbing sack of sh*t. I voted for Corbyn too, despite knowing he wouldn't win as the establishment and media were on high alert and the Brexit dads army were on full gammon. What’s gone is gone now though and there will be millions of punters like me who voted for Corbyn (twice) and didn’t get a Labour Government (again) and so will now vote for Starmer who looks like he will be able to get us a Labour Government.
Politics is a dirty world because it is inhabited by human beings.
That's the problem though. It WON'T be a Labour government. It'll just be a slightly less Tory than the Tory government we already have, calling itself a Labour government. The people who helped stop us from having a real Labour government in the last two elections are now the people leading the party. It's a joke, and it isn't even a very funny joke. What’s gone is gone now though and there will be millions of punters like me who voted for Corbyn (twice) and didn’t get a Labour Government (again) and so will now vote for Starmer who looks like he will be able to get us a Labour Government.

What would a real Labour party do then ?That's the problem though. It WON'T be a Labour government.
