Yeah if you need a switch they are expensive to buy

The 2.5gb modem is ASU's et-12 and it has 1x 2.5gb WAN to the modem and 1x2.5gb LAN connection then 2x 1gb lan.

You'd never get any benefit for the sky box tbh, it'll be pcs or laptops, and only if you have a 2.5gbps port, If 1gb is what you'd get then it's better prices at about 28 a month. Else the only benefit is additional bandwidth available.

Are you an existing customer? You don't need to wait for your contract to end to renew if you did want to upgrade.
 
I've had it a couple of months now and can't fault it. I just got sick of Virgin constantly dropping out.
 
Just had their 150 Mbps package installed this afternoon and first impressions are that it is brilliant. 120Mbps on wifi compared to around 10Mbps on Sky for the same price.

if you can affoard it i would pay £8 more a month and get1000mbps package
