Yet more….

Oh for Christ's sake Brexit was a crap decision we know, can we please stop bringing up every news story that shows it. You are not going to change anything on a message board that 50% voted to leave and 50% voted to remain, if anybody feels that strongly about it join a political party run for election and try to change it, otherwise just let it go.

Rant over😁

That’s great proof like isn’t it? Out of all the toys hands of bars in all the tens of countries you reckon one single bar in one single country is proof that free WiFi is everywhere. That’s the worst argument since, well the last pro Brexit argument
To be fair, you are arguing the exact opposite of that position basd on places you have visited and extrapolating it out to everywhere.

I didn’t like. He said there was WiFi very what’re in Europe. I said there wasn’t. My statement was factually correct. He thinks a single bar is proof which it isn’t by a huge distance.

also my main point remains: the only Brexit “argument” seems to be that things are only slightly worse than they were before. This is patently untrue but even if it were true it would be an insane thing to defend. Defend something that makes everything slightly worse

If you would like me to give you many other examples in different countries just say the word and i will prove your argument wrong.
You’re not though. I don’t think you understand how arguments work. I can find a bar in pretty much every European city with free WiFi. It doesn’t, even close, prove that WiFi is available everywhere in the EU. I can’t believe you think it does

Maybe. I think most people realise he means that areas that tourists visit, and his point is fair in that respect. These posts about Brexit are getting tiresome though. I'm not sure if you think by keeping raising points that most of the people on here are already aware of, that it will somehow change things. Or is it just a case of 'Here, I told you so'?

As an aside and some good news for me anyway when I got back here to NZ 02 do unlimited data roaming usage here! Part of their International Travel add on. Result!

Well he’s still wrong. I haven’t had free public WiFi in any major city I can think of. The fact is WiFi is significantly more restrictive than a phone single. Everyone know that. Just some people have to argue. Even if their only citation is a single pub I Prague.

I’m actually tired of explaining this second bit so try and let it sink in. Every single thread on Brexit it highlighting a separate. Completely different issue. This one is roaming rates being introduced. Which hasn’t been touched on for years. This is the point. Every single thread is a separate issues. If you’re tired of discussing the multitude of issues Brexit is causing, what does that tell you, and everyone else, how monumentally bad Brexit is?

ST. Not sure what you are trying to achieve on this subject apart from getting some huge frustration out of your system. Yes ending roaming in EU will be inconvenient. Getting off a plane to be able to get a football score or the news is a minor inconvenience but it’s by no means a disaster. There are many other things BREXIT brings which are bad but this isn’t one to get all het up about.

One half knows how bad brexit is, so ST is preaching to the converted. The other half don't see it that way and won't or can't be converted. The net result of this is futility. If anyone is that ebullient about a point, do something productive and constructive about it. Whinging on a messageboard for 12+ months is the least effective approach I can think of. It creates apathy or indeed animosity toward the the cause one might be trying to rally for, it's more damaging than collaborative

For the third time - roaming rates are not being introduced.

Fat Dragon has answered your first line, so I'll pass on that. Wifi more restrictive than a phone signal? I'd have to disagree. Both have benefits and drawbacks, good luck getting a phone signal in a rural location, where broadband and Wifi would work. Its not black and white.

Your patronising second paragraph aside, I don't need anything to sink in. I know things will be different, some worse, some better, some the same. Having a phone call cost me more if I breach fair use guidelines is not high on my list of worries.

Seriously dude, we get it, you think Brexit sucks. We all know you think that, and some of us agree with you. But give it a rest. I like your posts on non Brexit stuff, but I'm getting close to hitting ignore on you, because you and Brexit is getting right on my t*ts.

This was one of your more desperate attempts ST. The example in the article describes a 25gb data limit. Total non event.

I like a five knuckle shuffle in a hotel room as much as the next man, but only the most rampant consumers of HD pornography will manage to exceed that sort of allowance!

HAHAHA

You love contradicting yourself don't you?
You don’t understand the difference between publi WiFi and WiFi in a bar? I honestly can’t believe you’re being this dense. You know for a fact that you can’t get WiFi in most outdoor spaces most museums and stores only select restaurants and bars and yet you think a single bar in Prague proves that the whole of Europe is covered in a mystical WiFi network. Seriously? And again you’re having a desperate time of it trying to prove that Brexit is only slightly worse than what we had before. Which still makes it worse
