Ye he needs to go

I really don’t want him to be sacked, but something has to change soon or else relegation becomes probable. I think he’s been sold down the river, remember when we signed these project players he talked of getting some experience next….surely he expected more than O’Brien and Greenwood?

Ask yourself this : why do you bring in a brand new manager who has only EVER played at the very top of the game? I reckon it is to play the game with a certain style and play it the so-called right way.
Why would you go to the fuc.king bother of convincing this young manager to take the job and then give him what seems like randomly selected players from all around the world and expect him to get a tune out of them? What standard is the Australian league? The Danish league? The Swiss league?

We bagged 2 players on loan last season who were superb - Giles then Archer. On top of this, we had Akpom surprised the world to have the best season from a striker we have seen for 30 years. Then they all went.
Replaced with Engel, Silvera and Lath. Two of whom, on current form wouldnt get a game for Doggy Workies.
Nowt to do with the coaches.
“Doggy Workies.”

Look at last season he really isn’t incompetent

Here's a timeline of incompetence for you from tonight:-

Starts Silvera fine whatever, within 15 minutes it's obvious he's not in the game tonight, like painfully poor. Didn't retain possession once when the ball came to him.
Whole team looks a state for the first 45 minutes. He takes off Engel who's absolutely bobbins but leaves the entire rest of the team on the pitch but fair enough, everyone else is expecting at least 2 subs if not 3....

Second half the team immediately loves it now that Jones is on the pitch and playing well, score a goal.

Silvera still hasn't retained possession. 60 minutes in Wendys make a change to combat Jones, shores up that side. Boro still in control... Crooks who's had a fairly poor game is now also very tired, McGree is growing into the game, Silvera still dreadful.

McGree subbed, Greenwood on (out of position no less), game falls apart.

Still Silvera is on the pitch, Crooks too tired to kick a ball at this point still on the pitch. Another 15 minutes pass no subs ... 87! 87 minutes pass Silvera comes off Rogers?!

Should have moved quicker to sort out the Engel situation in that first half...surprised Woodgate being a defender didn't get it sorted. It was obvious from about 15 minutes in what was happening....
Shambolic tbh....

Not denying his game management was poor but we can’t sack another manager this early and start over again.

We were in a complete mess around this time last season and no decent manager would have touched the job which is why we had to take a risk with carrick, if we sack him then we will be in the exact same position again. New managers carry these risks and need time to get it right

This isn’t about carrick at all though, he and everyone else involved with the club are finally starting to see the impact of years of mismanagement from the top. You can have whoever you want picking the side and that doesn’t change while Gibson is still here

It's like this every single week, you claimed he's not incompetent I have proven incompetence tonight!
I honestly don't care, ill do the job. Get a footie manager nerd in it worked for that French side. There's always options.

Young manager, new team, low in confidence. Right now is not the time to lose faith. We’ve seen what he can do when things click. Need to keep the faith, things will get better - UTB!!
We have seen what he can do with 60 million worth of talent gifted by Gibson and Scott.

Now we are seeing what he does with peanuts basically its irrelevant.

We have ****ed ourselves

But I can list many examples from last season which had shown what a good manager he is, so a few examples of bad game management doesn’t mean he’s incompetent

When will you start to realise it’s not the managers who are the problem

Or are the ten managers we have gone through in ten years all just incompetence?

My God I think your serious.🤣🤣🤣
You're actually and genuinely putting yourself forward for the job because you've wasted the best years of your life playing football manager when you should have been out in the sunshine.
You do realise Will Still didn't go straight from playing FM on his PC to managing Reims don't you?
Deluded doesn't even cover it.

Also you haven't proven anything, do you know whether McGree had a slight knock or another issue which meant he couldn't have lasted 90 minutes? No.
Did Carricks substitution at half time change the game? Yes.
He's like every manager he'll get some things right and some things wrong, he'll make decisions because of things we don't know and don't see.

Does that include the last 10 games when we surrendered promotion?

Hes a great manager with a good team but appears to be lacking when things go wrong.

I hope he stays and turns to around

He didn't say he could manage.

Carrick changed the game.. Jesus mate if he didn't we should have sacked him by 60 mins. A goldfish could of changed the game.

Mcgree was starting to effect the game. Who said he had a knock? Or u guessing?

Not played footie manager in years and of course I'm not expecting to do the job, I am saying myself and many others would have got a result at Sheffield Wednesday tonight.

Did it look like McGree had a slight knock?!

Get the Ra ra whistle out we've found one.

If you can play and initiate that result I’ll drive you to rockliffe myself, I think you are shooting from the hip without a loaded gun on this one mind 😉

To be fair, our lass whos never seen a game of football said silvera runs weird and she could tackle him and that lad at the back there cant catch the lad against him so whys he playing

I think she might of made subs earlier and possibly has a loaded gun

If she has a loaded gun, you are in trouble Wolfman, thoughts are with you 😉

I'm pretty sure "I'll do the job" is clear enough.

But he did make the change and it worked, if he's getting pelters for the subs that didn't work he should at least get some credit for the one that definitely did.

I'm not saying McGree did necessarily have a knock, the point I'm making is we don't know the factors which influence a decision a manager takes and for someone to say they've proven a manager is incompetent without all of that knowledge is ridiculous..
