Yannick Bolasie loan deal

Did anyone catch Warnock in his press conference about saying he has seen a few 'faces around the place' when asked about possible transfers

Just for context. He said in an interview with FourFourTwo in 2006: "Well if the person think it’s funny then so be it – I’m not against anything that makes people laugh. I’m all for that. And I’ve certainly been called a lot worse. Put that bit in, will you? I’ve been called far worse."

Maybe he just doesn't like Gary Lineker. I blame Brexit for that.

I doubt it. Given jismlimitations and Saville has a dee Besix for me was too

Just as a matter of interest would you find it acceptable if he was manager of a rival team?

Well I'd like to think I'm mature enough to accept that this is a game and I'm not sure why anyone would have to use insulting language to anyone who was managing an opposing team. But I get this is tribal territory and football fans are incredibly hostile to each other.

I'm an engineer and I wouldn't go into my competitor's office and call him a 'w*****'.

I think we should all lighten up and give ourselves a bit of a break! If Warnock has ever read on here that I've called him Colin and is offended, he'll also have read that I am his biggest fan (I like him even more than I liked Pulis) and lobbied for his appointment for several years (along with yourself and erimus74).;) I mean I basically got him the job.:p

I fear that because you at some point in the past joined the call for NW to be appointed, that might explain why Gibson shied away from appointing him previously ;) :p

Col, we all know Gibson listens to me way more than he listens to you. He also knows I've got his back on here.

Hi Steve if you're reading btw (y)

Exactly but in this world of tribalism I doubt anyone can say they have never uttered or perhaps written a profanity about an opposition manager or player

I agree, he must, thats why the club is currently in the state it is :D

If only he had listened to me since 2015 on team affairs, managers and the need for pace, width and creativity, we might be a Premier league team with a healthier income 😉

You’ve sadly lost your vocation.

This thread has all gone a bit bizzare😂

Just got in from work thinking '168 comments' about Bolasie. Actually about 50 and the rest drivel.

We signing anyone or what? 16mins😂

Looks more likely to be Baba Rahman out of us and Derby apparently. Hed be an idiot to go there with impending sacking of cocu and shrek Rooney to be announced.

He knows I don't like VAR and therefore doesn't want us in the PL atm.

Probably not, although the Pears to Blackburn move appears to be still on.

The Gazette did post this earlier:

The window closes in just over an hour, but Boro do have the option to put in a deal sheet and get an extra two hours to complete any deal.

To put in a deal sheet Boro need to obviously have a deal in place with a club and both clubs need to sign the form and send it across to the EFL before 5pm, which allows for extra time to complete negotiations with the player/club on the transfer's finer details.

If approved, clubs get an extra two hours to complete the transfer.

So a deal sheet today would give Boro until 7pm to conclude any business.
