championship wages are diff levels you can be a Bournemouth 10 goal a season striker on 65k or young Coventry midfielder on 8k. Worlds apart. Sign them young and they are likely on low wages. Sign them from a side promoted from League One and they'll be on low wages. According to the site I use, Hamer is on 6.5K and O'Hare on 10k and are first and third highest paid players for Coventry. Between them they earn the same as 12 other players, so Coventry would look to get them off the books if a good offer comes in.they are all championship players so the only thing to attract would be high wages and we don’t do that anymore.
I like Gustavo Hamer and Mark Yates , but they would command decent fees around £2m Each I would have thought , plus improved wages , so the overall package is maybe a bit much under the current climate . I would like to think not and sign both as a new midfield partnership , but can’t see it happening unless we sell Tav / Fry .championship wages are diff levels you can be a Bournemouth 10 goal a season striker on 65k or young Coventry midfielder on 8k.
