Once in a while? After our disastrous start to the campaign, 2 points from a possible 21, it would be nice to hear from the chairman for once. If Carrick has his full backing then come out and say so to take a bit of the pressure off Carrick. Even if the message came from Kieran Scott.

As always, there is complete silence from behind the scenes even though our poor start is largely down to Gibson, Scott etc. I'm not saying Carrick is blameless as his team selections have been baffling in recent weeks but he's certainly not the main reason for our shocking start to this season.

No.

Though he did an interview with the Telegraph to complain about Chelsea under Wilder in 2021.

He did an interview with the Times in 2020 to try and gain support for clubs during Covid.

I think the last time we heard from him directly was when he was asked on an industrial site by BBC Tees if Warnock was staying on as manager in a 10 second clip, then you'd have to go back to the Woodgate unveiling.
