Can just imagine Morsy as the fulcrum of a slick passing machine.
Morsy did look ok at first I thought, and did look to be “a bit of a” destroyer. I think rather than lacking a destroyer as such we’re just missing a few leaders as per. It’s a team of kids in midfield and upfront, minus Crooks I guess.
I thought that......but we topped the league last year from points gained after going behind.I can’t disagree. Once the first goes in we look like folding every time
Well ok but he now starts for a side who seem to be fancied for promotion by many. I’m not saying he was “good” or that I want him back but he is doing ok for himself now.He looked like a destroyer in the sense that he was slow and often late to the tackle, so potentially could break a few legs. Not sure he was ever good enough for what we needed, the fact he ended up in league one confirmed that really.
He’s on about Snail Morsy
Terrible terrible playerChrist, him again. Aye he was strong in the tackle, problem was he never actually won them.
No he wouldn't.Clayton.
If we had some kind of cryogenic freezing machine that could have stopped him from aging, he'd be perfect.
Barlaser isn't a defensive midfielder, regardless of where Carrick plays him. Neither is Howson. Their strength is their ball playing ability.A destroyer that we can afford is not going to be a slick passer - I don't think Boateng was known for his slick passing and he would be £15m to £20m in today's market.
Morsy's free kick today was headed for Ipswich's first goal - who have won their first 2 games this season.
The current choice is Barlaser or Morsy?
Apart from last season, obvs, when no team won more points from losing positions than Boro.I can’t disagree. Once the first goes in we look like folding every time
Our fans like to forget about this when going into meltdown mode over 2 losses.Apart from last season, obvs, when no team won more points from losing positions than Boro.
Just feel since the Huddersfield game towards end of last season there’s been a frailtyApart from last season, obvs, when no team won more points from losing positions than Boro.
This. Absolutely.Hard in the tackle, athletic, energetic, good on the ball.
Need someone in there. Look weak as **** at the moment in midfield.
I hope the Akpom money allows us to sign a central midfielder. We need someone to come in and start too, not a back up player.
Definetly. Too frailThis. Absolutely.
Arguably the biggest asset we are woefully short of.
