Woodgate’s post match interview.

I hope he gets the job takes, them up and keeps them up and goes onto manage England.
Don't get the hate on here for locals/ex Boro
Wouldn’t say it’s hate, more I don’t want to see him do well to at a direct rival In our league considering what he done for us last season.

The difference between the Sky upstart, who sits on his arz looking at a screen and Johnathan Woodgate is that the latter has played football at the highest level.
He`s prepared to step into the couldron of League Management and clearly willing to learn from failure and success.
The Sky upstart wont be remembered for his achievements.
His time under the spotlights is only when the make-up person flicks powder on his wrinkled pale cheeks!
Thats the answer Woodgate should have given! Perhaps you could be his media coach Roofie with Parmo Army as his corner/cuts man

How much should I charge?
I could be Woodgate`s Alistair Campbell(y) [Propagandist]
So long as I dont become his Dominic Cummins:eek::geek:

Laughing - I could employ you as my Researcher.
You could load the ammo and I fire the bullets🎯

He’s just been told that he gave a “boring answer” after the game by the interviewer live on Sky. (Interviewer found himself hilarious)

There seems to be a real lack of respect toward him from some parts of the media.

He could massively do with some interview coaching, the next time some jumped up little t*t tells him his answer is boring, he will be ready to tell him that the question was worse and slot him (maybe not but you get my drift)
If it's the same interview that supermfc posted the link to then Woody in answering a question about his possible future at the club said 'just thinking about the next game. Boring answer I know.'
Sky guy said 'yes boring answer'. They were both laughing and Woody said 'but the right answer'.

May not have got it word for word but the clip (if it's the one being referred to) is quite different from the OP.

There is not a hate of locals/ex Boro at all, but neither is there adulation of all either. Judge everyone on their merits and based on your own experience of them.

I have no respect for Woodgate as I have met him personally and watched what he has done and how he has conducted himself. He was an outstanding centre back who happens to come from Middlesbrough. He was also a disaster as our manager.
I similarly have little time for Lee Cattermole, though I think at least Lee really cared about Boro.

I have massive respect for lots of ex Boro players and local ex Boro players. Stuart Ripley, Willie Maddren, Colin Cooper, Tony Mowbray, Stewart Downing, to name just a few.

In my opinion there is a hate on this board of locals/exBoro doing well for themselves , but hey-ho life and message boards are what opinions are for.
I have never met Woodgate personally so wouldn't wish to comment on him or any stories regarding him.
With regards to managing us, I am sure he gave it his best shot but ultimately failed, but maybe that is more down to Gibson for promoting him when he wasn't ready for that level.
Oh and I do agree he was an outstanding centre back

Agree with the sentiments of this post. Although I have met Cattermole and he’s been spot on times I have met him and was lovely to my family. Although he obviously had a daft side to him when he was a kid

Never spoil a good story with the truth!

Not good with alcohol. To get barred out of the full set in Yarm takes some doing.
If he's trained on and grown up a bit then that's great to hear, but he was an absolute ****.
