Woodgate’s post match interview.

He’s just been told that he gave a “boring answer” after the game by the interviewer live on Sky. (Interviewer found himself hilarious)

There seems to be a real lack of respect toward him from some parts of the media.

He could massively do with some interview coaching, the next time some jumped up little t*t tells him his answer is boring, he will be ready to tell him that the question was worse and slot him (maybe not but you get my drift)

Wonder why that is.......

Probably making too much of it. Most interviewers make comments on managers or have a pre conceived opinion of them. Woodgate certainly isn’t the worst manager when it comes to interviews.

I think it's much ado about nowt ... results are all that matter for him at the moment and he's been doing well. Had a feeling this would happen for some reason when he had taken over as caretaker coach. I think he'll manage to get Bournemouth a top-six finish if he remains in that position for the rest of the season.

If the players are responding to him well, and he does have a very decent squad .. then interviews aren't important. Results will follow. Good luck to him, things seem to be working out so far. He gets a lot of grief, I'm no fan of the guy for sure but not bothered about his interviews, 3 points a game are all that matters for him at the moment.

Hopefully we will replace them in the top six. xx
Of course, I hope the same too .. who knows. This league is crackers. Especially in this 'Covid era football', with no fans .. for some reason, football results seem harder to call than ever! And we're talking the Championship ha ha. Let's hope things go our way, yer never know.

The difference between the Sky upstart, who sits on his arz looking at a screen and Johnathan Woodgate is that the latter has played football at the highest level.
He`s prepared to step into the couldron of League Management and clearly willing to learn from failure and success.
The Sky upstart wont be remembered for his achievements.
His time under the spotlights is only when the make-up person flicks powder on his wrinkled pale cheeks!

Look, nice lad is Jonathan but his interpersonal skills are really poor but he isn’t even aware of his shortcomings which is why he might get this job but he’ll be gone before the season end as Bournemouth falter.

He is. And is popular with media. He was probably joking with the reporter beforehand, hence why they were joking on screen.
Perhaps Woody should challenge him to most keepy-upy`s or an indoor 5-a-side.
Ian Abrahams ["Moose"] from Talksport could have a go too (y) ;)

Good luck Woody, if we can't catch em then I hope he takes them up via the playoffs & as far as he can in the FAC

I hope he gets it permanently does an awful job and we take over his position in the play offs.
Perfect world yes

I would too & the way the results are going in this crazy football world I'm not betting against us making the top 6 either

I’m not ruling it out yet. All it takes is to find some form and go on a little run and you never know. Tough game Saturday mind

They're all tough really if we keep conceding & falling behind to then start again a goal behind

I hope he gets the job takes, them up and keeps them up and goes onto manage England.
Don't get the hate on here for locals/ex Boro

Yep. It’s the reason we need a better goalie because with Bettinelli at the moment we seem to be 1-0 down before we know it and then it’s about re- grouping and going again. Thankfully we could do it against Huddersfield. I think if Fry is back it’s a massive plus, interested to see how the McNair hearing goes
