The football is alright. I'm not sure i can handle the child fanbase for a month.

Do you think they've actually improved that much since turning professional? I'm not convinced to be honest.I quite enjoy watching the girls play and they’re so much better than they were even just a few years ago - but let’s be honest though, the standard compared to the men is still light years behind. I know some will say that’s sexist but it’s just a fact. Still good to watch though

I really thought the levels would have gone up but it's still quite slow, ponderous and littered with poor decisions and passing.
Yes they’ve improved i think - obviously their lack of physicality is a big problem in terms of strength and speed on the ball though. Can’t see how that will ever changeDo you think they've actually improved that much since turning professional? I'm not convinced to be honest.

The benefits of full professionalism won't be seen for a while yet. The top English players have had professional FA contract for about a 15 years, but the whole league was semi pro until 4 years ago. The biggest change is the investment in youth teams and talent pathways, which will take at least a generation to bring results.Yes they’ve improved i think - obviously their lack of physicality is a big problem in terms of strength and speed on the ball though. That's true, but the problem is it's the women footballers themselves that are doing the comparing, not to mention the BBC, which doesn't do them any favoursI think if people stopped constantly comparing it to the men's game they might be able to enjoy it for what it is, no?
When? I've never once seen women footballers comparing it to the men's game. In fact they regularly state that they don't want or like the comparisons. That's true, but the problem is it's the women footballers themselves that are doing the comparing, not to mention the BBC, which doesn't do them any favours
I've watched tonight's match with an open mind, but my god the standard is on a par with Glossop North End's 3rd XI after a night on the ale
