With the benefit of hindsight..

Just as much as we had been getting at them they had been getting at us, I said on another thread once we start leading , especially away from home we have some strengths in our team that means if we sit back and keep it more compact we can use our pace on the break, it's not a guarantee that we will keep a clean sheet but I feel away from home where if the home team gets on a roll it's hard to stop them it's more safer. , At home I agree more with our tactics you have to make it your place where we make it very difficult for other teams.

I was thinking about this earlier. Personally think it's obvious from this game and others before that if we take our chances we win the games.

What I will add is that on the pitch I think whatever they decide we seem to be going in the right direction, but that is countered by 2 difficult home matches coming up, a kinda bogey team at ours and the Wilder derby , if we win them chances are we will be less than 5 points from the top. UTB

Keep Latte Lath on instead of Burgzorg.

Probably would have helped to bring on Clarke and go 3 at the back for the final stages too.

The tide had turned before Lath went off.
Burgzorg did more than Lath was doing.

The problem was we don't get enough reward for 65 mins of pressure...... again.

I think Carrick has limited options at the moment again. I can only assume McGree was deemed either unfit or an injury risk. Forss obviously wasn't fit enough. Conway is injured. They are the obvious 3 who can make a difference in our front 4.

Forss and McGree should be fit in 2 weeks time all being well, Conway doesn't sound too far away either. Then Carrick has some genuine options in that front 4.

Is McGree be going off on international duty?

No idea to be honest. I hope not. But it's been known for him to go semi fit and come back even more injured than he went.
That is my worry. Also, could he have cried off with a slight knock to make sure he was fit.

I am sure I am reading too much into it.

Burgzorg came on in response to their equaliser.

He then did nothing but badly overhit a simple pass on the break in one of the

He's offering very little every time he comes on up front.

We'd have had more chance of winning with Latte Lath still on than we would with him.
