Will Everton points deduction stand ??

As we know only too well never say never where the premier league/FA are concerned it seems that some laws only apply to certain clubs. So do you think the Everton points deduction will stand or can you say it being lessened or dropped altogether.
Can I offer a different perspective? Firstly I agree that Everton need to be accountable along with others over any breach of rules. Secondly my daughter works for Everton. She is a season ticket holder at Boro home & away couldn’t care less about Everton on the pitch. But she has rent/bills to pay & it’s been clearly communicated that any relegation will have consequences for staff. They are so worried about a situation out of their control.

I'm glad it punishes the fans. Maybe fans would actually care and put pressure on their own club to stay within the rules in that case.
Never going to happen at any club anywhere
How many fans have asked their club to spend less money on players etc?
If you want them fans punished then another points deduction should be made
And also by that scenario then the fans of all the relegated clubs in recent years should be putting pressure on their clubs to sue Everton for tens of millions - to help get them the money to stay within the rules
Then if Everton can't pay them then a points deduction next season if they go into administration
There's a new stadium that could be sold to pay off some creditors

I genuinely hope all things work out ok for your daughter @Habibi

If they do go down, that is one of the promotion places secured, just like Leicester
This is part of the problem.
The 'system' penalises more than 1 club and more than 1 set of fans.
The offending club will be up and running back in the Prem within a season taking the ££££ again.

Make them start again at the bottom of the footballing ladder.
