Wilful Neglect

I'm sure his family will be comforted by your kind words.
Where have I said anything that, even in the unlikely event that a member of this poor chap's family read it, might be construed as unkind?
Damn straight I'm against lockdowns. Especially when they are also causing kids to kill themselves too but you are alright Jack.
Firstly, we KNOW that reported suicides are DOWN during lockdown. Less people have taken their own lives than statistically would have been expected in a "normal" year, so that's bo11ocks.

Secondly, don't you tell me "you're alright", you don't know. You don't know how I'm doing. I'm struggling like everyone else I know, this is not easy for anyone so do not presume to tell me "you're alright". What I'm NOT doing is posting trite idiotic solutions to complex problems with no regard for any consequences
Find another room for them.

Concerning signals

5 in one county alone.

Kids killing themselves, it's not right and I hold Johnson, Hancock, Whitty, Valance and Ferguson responsible for cutting these kid's lives short.

Back to the subject at hand, I haven't seen any other info regarding the care home worker's arrests, has anybody else?
So you didn’t want lockdowns which brought cases down and significantly reduced pressure on hospitals, but in the same thread you also criticise hospitals for not being able to treat patients once they hit capacity and also asked if they should be arrested for this, just what is it you actually want? If cases had got any higher, there would have been an awful lot more stories about someone dying because they couldn’t get medical care for none Covid reasons.

If only it were as simple as open another room.

It's the availability of highly skilled Doctors and Nurses to put in those rooms that is lacking.

As a society we need to decide if we want to cover the cost of having a much larger group of these highly trained people so that when the next pandemic strikes we can open another room.

At the moment society has taken the 'i'm alright jack' approach to social responsibility.

You say this like everywhere in the world locked down and those that didn't now don't exist on a map anywhere. I've had this discussion before and can't be fussed going over it again.
I don't agree with lockdowns, they will end up causing more harm, to health, economy and society in the long run than covid-19 ever will. As a man who pays taxes, contributes to society and looks after the health of his family I'm allowed to express that opinion.

We were in well over 1k deaths every day from Covid in January, we are now around 50 because of lockdown. No way lockdown has caused more damage than those amount of deaths plus the strain it would have caused in the NHS which would have caused so many other issues.

I can't remove it as it is black and white in the article.
He had his operation cancelled because they wouldn't put him on a recovery ward with covid patients. How is that me been disrespectful?

As Gaz said, I'm sure it is more complex then we are been told. Covid has took precedent over every other ailment, some have been lucky and a received treatment as some on this very forum have attested to. Others haven't

Look at that, 91% of GP's asked believe a reluctance to go to hospital/doctors has contributed to a delay in diagnosis and a huge 68% of them reporting problems with remote diagnosis (pretty much impossible to remotely diagnose cancer).

Don't you dare accuse me of been disrespectful, have you lost a friend this year as a direct result of lockdown measures and covid prioritising? Because I have.
91% of GPs eh!

Time they stopped filling in surveys and spent more time accepting patients needing treatment rather than putting them off or referring them to 'health care professionals'.

'Send us a photo' is getting beyond a joke. Both myself and my wife have had the same response from the GP in the past year, and getting an appointment is taking a long time. Perhaps that's why people are failing to get the treatment they require.

It took me over a month to see the GP for a problem last year, once referred I was in to see the consultant and operated on within 3 weeks.

Some practices are taking the pish.
